I have a compatability question regarding the relatively new Gefen 4:1 HDMI Switcher. My current Home Theatre system is:

(1) Panasonic AE700U front projector - has HDMI and component inputs
(2) Panasonic DVD S77 Player - has HDMI output
(3) Panasonic SA-XR70S AV Receiver - has HDMI input/output
(4) Scientific Atlantic STB for SDTV and HDTV - has HDMI output
(5) Infinity TSS-1100 5.1
(6) Da-Lite 77" Diagonal Screen

I currently HDMI connect the DVD to the AV Receiver and then to the AE700U via HDMI for video; the DVD PQ is awesome. The STB is currently connected via component and TOSLINK. However, I want to connect all current HDMI devices (DVD and STB) to a Gefen 4:1 HDMI Switcher (with room for expansion, e.g., PS3 with HDMI out) and then HDMI connect the Gefen to the Panasonic AV Receiver, which terminates to the AE700U via a 23-foot HDMI cable.

In other words, I want to eliminate TOSLINK and component connections so as to maxize the video. So, will the Gefen HDMI Switcher allow connection selectivity for all the HDMI devices to the AV Receiver for both (5.1) audio and video (again, the video will be HDMI output to the Panasonic AE700U Projector)?

Thanks.
