I am attempting to record DVDs to a Liton DVD burner that is hooked up to the VCR-2 out connections on the 3805. I am attempting to record material from VCR tapes (VCR-1 input) and from CABLE DVR that is hooked up to the DBS input of the 3805. I cannot get any signals to go to the VCR-2 output. I can get the signals to go to the TV which is hooked up to the monitor out. Any help would be appriciated.

It looks to me that you didn't have the correct source selected on the Denon. To record say VCR-1 source, you need to set to VCR-1 unless the receiver allows you to select VCR-1 independently while watching something else.

If the source selection is not the cause...How was the Cable DVR and VCR-1 hooked up to your 3805? Was it via component video/S-video? And audio via optical or Digital Coax? Many receivers don't output these for recording... unless it's via RCA yellow/red/white. Check your manual.

You can do a quick experiment by also hooking up the DVR RCA yellow/red/white into the Denon.
