The Sony HT-DDW840 rivals the Okoyo HT-S650 and is $200.00 less

For $300.00 you can buy a Sony System HT-DDW840
that sounds just as good as the HT-S650 plus it has more discreet speakers.
This Sony System is a real bargain.

Just got this unit over the weekend. I'm a little confused about hooking up the dvd to the receiver. I hooked up a digital coax monster cable but the manual also says to hook a RCA composite cable into the "audio in". Doesn't the coax cable over-ride the composite cable??

you hook up one or the other, then make sure you change the settings to coax if you use the digital input. Also make sure you set your dvd player to digital output as well

Thanks for the quick response. Now I have a question about the sub-woofer. I'm going to be hiding the sub-woofer in an entertainment unit and I won't have access to it. Since there's a separate power button on the speaker itself, does that mean that I can only power on and off via that button?? If so, is it ok to keep the power on all the time??
