What would be cheaper for me. My Yamaha HTR-6370 reciever just blew out and i dont know why, but need a reciever. Would it be cheapest to A) fix the reciver B) buy a new reciever C) buy a new home theater (speakers and reciver)

it depends on what your looking for buddy? 5.1? 6.1? how much watt? you should really search google for whats the BEST you can get in your price range. i have found my HT that way and im quite happy with it. its a Panasonic SCHT-05. 5.1, dolby digital, PL2, DTS decoding, 600 watt, active sub, 2 toslink optical input and 1 digital coaxial input. 6 channel analog inputs for sacd and dvd-a, radio tuner. it satisfies my needs and i only paid 200$ shipped from amazon. and thats 5 speakers, sub and receiver. I recommend first going to the store and trying some.
