I am in the process of redesigning my HT system which simply consists of a DVR (ComCast), AV Receiver, DVD, CD Player and of course a TV. The DVR, DVD and CD player all have Audio Digital and Analog outs.
Is it necessary to connect the analog outs to the AV Receiver since I am not going to record (eg no VCR) any analog signals? I really want to eliminate some cables!
I tried a search, but can't seem to narrow it down enough to produce a manageable amount of responses.
