Some stores are selling both of these systems and I wonder if the added channel is worth the higher price. The 780 is 7.1 instead of 6.1. Also the speaker sizes are slightly smaller on the 780 and has a drop from 130 to 110 rated watts. Is the smaller size due to better material or is Onkyo getting cheap?
Should I go for the 770 at clearence or get the 780?
