Optical cable...can you help please

Anonymous	Posted on Monday, April 18, 2005 - 20:10 GMT I connected the optical cable from my DVD player to the receiver. I have unclear sound with noise,the noise it can damage the speakers, but after(15 min) the sound start to be clear. what the problem

Anonymous New member Username: Anonymous Post Number: 3 Registered: Apr-05	Posted on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 - 18:59 GMT are you using the cable for surround? because if so then maybe there is some faulty speaker settings or you could try another cable to see if thats the problem. if neither of those work, then it could be a problem with the processor inside the reciever.
