I am building a hometheater pc. First Question, I have a Sony Triniton 36 in TV (CRT). If I use an allinwonder card that has svideo out, will the resolution of the tv be normal? Do I need any kind of media converter, or will this suffice?
Second Question: If question #1 comes out ok, I was wondering if I should go with the 9800 Pro allinwonder or the x600 PCI xpress allinwonder?
Yes, it would be fine, but remember that TV's have a different resolution to computer moniters, so you would need to output 800x600 or lower for it to work.
The 9800 and x600 are about the same level of performance, although the 9800 is a bit better. Obviously the x600 would be more expensive because it is pci-e.
