I am running this unit with the component video connections to my Yamaha AV receiver. I can't get it to record anything on the TV.
I have a DirectTV sat receiver component in to the Yamaha, I have the DVDR into the Yahama, using the component out to the TV.
Works great to play, but I can't record anything. I have tried using the analog out from the DirectTV box to the DVDR to the AV receiver in VCR2. I get sound, but no picture. If I use the s-video connections will it work? How should this really be hooked up?
