I have an RCA RT 2580 Home Theater that has worked great for over a year. Now the LFE light is not on and the subwoofer is not working at all. (All other speakers are working fine as before.)
I have trouble-shot by 1) Unplugging for 30 mins. for reset. 2) Manually reset to factory default settings. 3) Swapped a speaker to determine if it is the actual subwoofer. 4) Read the manual cover to cover numerous times, and am convinced I did not inadvertantly disable the LFE. All of this has no effect, the subwoofer is still out.
Has anyone else experienced this? RCA tech support is of no help, other than advising me to take it to an Auth. Serv. Rep. I want that to be my last resort. Any advice?
