I realize it's a simple question but I'm not sure if I should run my traditional cable from the wall to the receiver (to do all of the switching from one place), or directly to the TV (not HDTV). The only coaxial input on the reciever (Denon 2105) says FM antenna????

You'll have to run the cable to the TV. Unless you have an FM splitter and your cable company remodulates FM on that same cable it won't do any good to run it to the receiver. Then run the TV's audio output (red/white) back to the TV (aux) input on the receiver for cable program surround.

Simple questions are welcome too.
