I just purchased a new 30 inch LCD/HD Magnavox. Model number is 30mf200v. I am using Charter Cable. I need to know how to hook up the TV so that I can get the PIP to work. Do I need to go through a DVD player. If so I have this question also. My DVD has no place to hook up a line coming from the cable. I think I need to split the signal to the DVD and the TV. Am I right on this. What do I need to do.
Have you checked the manual? Things like these are in the manual. is it capable of PIP? I don't see PIP as part of its features. But either way, for PIP you either need a TV with 2 onboard tuners or a VCR that has its own tuner. If it is capable of PIP and you have no other device that has a tuner, then you can only get PIP via another video source such as the DVD player.
