yes they are old, but i still love them. i was considering buying a matching center or using the 600i as surrounds and buying a matching pair of fronts and center. and getting a sub. any thoughts on a $1000 budget? does anything besides a b&w center match the 600i?
Might want to keep them all the same to get good matching sound - will improve the sound stage most likely. It is pleasant to have a similar sound coming at you from all around you - you will be engulfed in a floating sound every where if you position them right, with the right electronics.
The sub, you might be able to get by with a different one.
