My first question is

1. Can i use Car speaker for Home speaker and hook it to a dj amp ? I would like to buy car speaker box then buy car speakers then install the speakers to the box then hook it to a dj amplifier.

2. Can i use those Dj Amplifier to power my speaker ?, i aready have a receiver but it doesnt have enough power, here is one example of the Dj amp , http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2366945380&category=14983.

3. Can i both use the 2 channel on a Dj amp and use 2 more channel on my receiver ? Having a total of 4 speaker , i have my Dad receiver hook to my receiver and i am using 4 speaker 2 on my dad receiver, and 1 on my speaker, it works fine but i do not know anything about amps. I wanted to get a amp cause it has alot of power and also it is cheap.

4. What does A/B Speaker Selector mean ?, Can i used both speaker on A and B at the same time.

5. Is their a different between a regular speaker and loudspeaker, I can see that loudspeaker must play loud, but they are sooo cheap.

Also are their custom boxes that u can buy for car speaker, They are so DAMN cheap i just cant stand it. I can see that 8 ohms are for home, and 4 ohms are for car speakers, Does the amp support 4 ohms ?

Email Me If u prefer.

1) You probably can, but check the impediance - come amps do not function on 4 ohm, only on 8 ohm.

2) Yes

3) First connect a cd player to your receiver, and use the tape out RCA section to connect it to the DJ amp.

4) You can hook up 2 sets of speakers to listen to - some allow both sets to play.

5) No difference - just name.

*) Here is a place for cabinets but not cheap:

You are right - you can save mega box by building your own speakers, but cheap car speakers don't sound good - you get what you pay for. Only the expensive ones sound good - mb quart, JBL, polk, ect.

You got the right idea - If you build a kit, you can get much better quality for less. Here is one, but start with quality parts :

If you want to buy already made affordable speakers, try these.

The cerwins are the best sounding of the bunch - they are good for roc and pop. They will sound better than cheap car speakers for sure - more bass. Shipping is free also on them.

If you live near a Best buy store, klh speakers are affordable and not bad. Circuit city has polks and sony thats ok - polks are better.

If you want to build a speaker from car speakers, start with good sounding ones like mb quart, JBL, JL audio, etc. and search the web for speaker building - if you are handy with wood working. You can save a lot of money by doing this.

If you want a bargain amp, try on ebay, sansui, nad, or marantz. They sound good and can be had for $30-70.

NAD CD player sounds good for less than $60 on ebay.

Speakers - I would recommend cerwin vegas here:
