Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone on this forum, I finally decided on my speaker set-up. I went with the Klipsch reference line.

fronts: rf-25
center: rc-25
subw: rw-8
rears: rsx-4

I really labored over this decision as some of you may be aware, and I really appreciate your patience. Special thanks to Shank, KEGGER, Cornelius, swampcat, Iandroval, Berny, goldenarrow, and anyone else i forgot.

Anyway, they sound great for the budget that i had to work with, and i am looking forward to getting my H/K AVR330 to really crank them up. Two follow-up questions if you don't mind: I'm thinking of upgrading to 7.1 in the future. So, if i were to get a pair of (klipsch) rs-25 (the surrounds) would they be better to go as the mids or the rears?? And, does anyone know a song with A LOT of bass? I mean something with unreal bass, so i can really put my new speakers to the test!

Thanks again,
Ryan

R. Schneck,

You might try Smashing Pumpkins "Thirty-Three", its on Mellon Collie. Corgan is known for putting really low frequencies on his songs, some are even sub 20 Hz.
