Posting in both speakers and recievers again... I was watching the simpsons tonight and I noticed some discoloration on my tv top. Im wondering if anyone could tell me if the Monitor Audio silver center 12i is video shielded or not? PLEASE HELP!! And if its not is there anything I can do? I mean what sense would it make to create a center channel that goes on top of a tv thats not video shielded?!
didn't think anyone made an unshielded center speaker. Unhook the speaker and still see if your tv is hasving problems. If not--you do have a shielding problem or some very weird wire anomaly--like terribly shielded wire or a tear or worn spot on the wire causing a magnetic field. Both very unlikely--but possible.
