I'm in the process of looking for a new DVD player, one that can play DVD-audio. I currently have a NAD 512 DVD player. So I'm looking for a player that is of simlar quality. Oh yeah, it has to be black, SWMBO says so. My options right now, is the pioneer elite DV45A, Denon 1200 and a Toshiba 9200. Both the pioneer and denon are new and about $350, the Toshiba is refurbished and about $400. I'm currently leaning towards the Pioneer. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or any other players that I should be looking at.

I have had the Elite 45 since March and have watched lots of movies, listened to many cds,sacd,dvd-audio and dvd concert movies and have loved every minute. For the money and performance I don't think you can beat it. For $350 it's a real steal. Great remote also.

Thanks elitefan. I've added the Denon 2200 to my list (might not buy a present for one of the pesky relatives :0 ). The Denon 2200 is about $450.00. Hopefully I'll decide what I want before Christmas.
