You guys that have helped have really been great...Thank You.

I am deciding between 2 systems. I am on a budget here so I can't go too crazy so my choices are:

1) Fronts - 2 Monitor radius 90s $400
Surrounds - 2 Monitoe radius 90s $400
Center - Monitor radius 180 $250
Sub - HSU STF 2 - $399
Total Price - $1,449

2) Axiom Epic Mini System

Bookshelves M2i
Surrounds QS4
Center VP100
Subwoofer EP125
TOTAL PRICE - $1,164

I have a Marantz 7400. I need small system so I chose the Axiom option w/ the smallest speakers.

So Which set-up do you guys suggest?

Robert,
Did you look at the MA Bronze line? I was just wondering because you can put together a Bronze system for about the same price. I have not be able to hear the Radius line as none of my local MA dealers stocks them. All I can say is I love my MA Silver system and know that MA and Marantz are a perfect match. There are no Axiom dealers anywhere near me so I can't comment on them. The only other small system I know that would sound good with the 7400 and is small is the Polk 6700 and 7200. Good luck.

I think the radius series is above the bronze but nt quite the silver. You pay more than the bronze but i believe the performance is superior ( ican't confirm this), the size is smaller and they are more attractive.

Robert - I have Axioms & recommend them highly.
Suggestions, however:
-Consider an upgrade to the Axiom M3ti or the M22
-Stay with the Hsu STF2 rather than the EP125
