Hi there,
Dawn here from New Zealand.
I was surfing the net for advice, found this addy and here I am :-)

I have cabinets (pa style) with 1" horn and 15" driver. They are simply wired together to the input with nothing else, the horn is way too loud for the 15" drivers responce and how is the easiest (cheapest!) way to overcome this?

I know very little about these things...do I add a cheap l-pad? or do I solder in a resistor... the main driver is marked 8ohm, the horn has no marking (I assume 8ohm as well). Would a 2ohm resistor added (how?) to the horns circut make it 10 ohm and thus quieter relative to the 15" driver?

Thank you, Dawn.

You need a cross-over as well in the tweeter - if not, it will blow.

Goto www.partsexpress.com and try to get a recommendation for one.
