I bought a Marantz SR5300 with Paradigm Phantom version 3 floor standing speackers (2), Paradigm ADP version 3 surround (2) and a Paradigm CC 70 version 3 center BUT without a sub and surround center for about 600 US$. I have a few question for the experts:
1. Is this a good deal?
2. Does this system match? For example, can the 5300 drive this particular combination of paradigm to its best performance?
3. DO I have to buy the Sub and the surround center?
4. What would you suggest as the best matching Sub and Surround center for my system for best performance. (I like music more than movies)

Thanks

It's a good deal.
You don't have to buy anything else if you are happy with the sound.

The Marantz is not bad and will do - unless you are not happy with the sound, in which case you might want to try panasonic sa-xr70 ($350 on the web).

You can get more out of your speakers, but your curent setup is not bad.

If you want a sub, and don't want to spend a lot, sony sawm500 is economical and good. Can be purchased on line.

All in all, you did well for yourself.
