Def Tech BP2004 powered sub question

Will I see any difference in bass performance if I upgrade my receiver (from HK AVR10 to say, Marantz SR7300ose) being as the subs in my D/T's as well as a separate Polk PSW450 sub are all powered?? I'm thinking no...
