I put I another aftermarket deck in my 96 ford ranger and it turned on then it turned off now I wont turn on again I bought new wiring harness and it still wont turn on need help on how to. Fix it
Fuse? That's the first place I'd look. ALL of 'em. Under dash? Under Hood? Fusable Link? The the fix it book. Maybe the Chiltons will have the Wiring diagram and location of fusable links.
Do you have and know how to work a simple meter? That would help, too. Enlist a buddy to help.
Anything ELSE not work? That would help track down the bad circuit.
If all the fuses are good, you my have 'smoked' the unit in which case you need professional help.
