I doubt anyone here has ever owned an Empire turntable or even remembers what Empire as a company was. I'm the oldest member on this forum and I certainly remember Empire - and have sold many of their products. But I have never owned an Empire table so I think you're sort of out of luck asking such a specific question on this forum.
