I just bought a jvc kdg200 receiver with 4 polk audio db650's. The system sounds great but I know it could be better with an amp. How big should I go? Any suggestions? Thank you.

I know you would like a nice simple answer but give a try at a few answers that have appeared in this forum before to similar questions:

Also check "definitions and descriptions" for more information, you will find it under the "speakers" section of this forum. Click on the link in the later posts about power.

I had a chance to talk to Mr.Polk himself, and asked the same question - and he said good 70 watts per ch (wide current).

You would have to make the jump to an audio shop to get a quality 70 watts that will improve your sound.

If you don't want to spend a lot, than I would recommend this one - sounds pretty good with polks. It is 100 watts discreet 2 ch. receiver.
