I have two Bose Accoustimass-7 speakers. Both bass modules have 3 cubes. Both bass modules have left, center, and right (in and out) terminals.

Can I use these speakers with a home theater 6.1 receiver connected to my Sony HDTV? We have a cable HDTV desktop tuner.

I'm assuming if I bought a 6.1 receiver that I'd be able to use these speakers but I don't know how to connect them so as to have surround sound.

I assume that I would have a left front cube and right front cube and two cubes for the front center, and then a cube for the left rear and another cube for the right rear. Or, would it be 1 cube for the front center and three across the back?

Advice please.

Thanks, Kerry

The configuration would be
1 cube = center
1 cube = left front
1 cube = right front
1 cube = rear left
1 cube = rear right
1 cube = back surround center...this is your 6.1 with the .1 being your subwoofer

for 7.1 you have back surround left and right cubes plus subwoofer.
