Posted on Friday, November 26, 2010 - 16:39 GMT Hello Hifi dudes, I wanted to shop for a P38 to connect to my Arcam Solo. As the Solo has functionality to add a zone, I thought I'd buy extra speakers and use the new amp to feed my Dyn Focus 140's. But I see on a second hand site an offer for a NAP200 out of 2004 for approx. the same price as a new P38. Better specs right? But is it important to have the same brands together? Steven |

Posted on Friday, November 26, 2010 - 19:14 GMT As far as brands goes, you SHOULD be able to use any preamp w/any power amp. However, I've heard that some combos don't work. It could be that some people just don't like the sound of certain combos. As for power, as long the amp amd spkrs work well together, that's what counts. |
