New member Username: Techno_kingHampshire, IL United States Post Number: 1 Registered: Apr-10 | I recently received an onkyo tx-sv 525 a/v receiver. I understand it's more designed for home theater scenarios but since it was free i figured i'd take it and use it as a stereo. Unfortunately I do not have speakers for it. Basically a friend bought a new receiver and just gave me the old one. Whats a decent pair of speakers for around $300 that would sound good with this receiver? |

New member Username: Techno_kingHampshire, IL United States Post Number: 2 Registered: Apr-10 | The room is actually just an empty storage space in a barn, me and a couple buddies just hang out and throw parties in it. it's an all wood barn, dont know how much affect that can actually have and its about 40X40X25. we listen to pretty much anything but a mojority is spread out between some rap, techno, and rock. |
Gold Member Username: DmitchellOttawa, Ontario Canada Post Number: 3823 Registered: Feb-07 | Man, that's a big space. You're gonna need more than a couple of Paradigm Titans, lol. Maybe some PA speakers? |
