New member Username: Charles3ctPost Number: 1 Registered: Mar-10 | OK I know these are old speakers from the 1990's But I have 5 of them I have been using for surround sound since then. They are nice but.. now that my darling little ones know how to turn on the amp in the entertainment room I have a problem. They turned it on - hmm no sound - must need more volume - ahh yes turn volume all the way up. Hmm still no sound. Ohh yes now I see it is not on DVD - click there oh what was that pop.. yes so now I have a few no so good sounding older speakers. I cannot complain that much - I have had them for a long time and gotten great use out of them. I might consider repair - but the cases are not really in the best of condition - having moved many times etc... soo... I am looking for good replacements. I have heard several - but not finding anything that really compared with what I had - for the size that it. Looking for suggestions? Budget? - well lower is always good - but would go up to 3K for the right set up. That does not mean that I have to spend that much only that I can - I don't mind spending a little but prefer not to waste it. |
