I want to upgrade my front speakers to Towers, and upgrade my Center channel to complement the new towers. I want to spend $600-700 and am running an Onkyo SR-507 receiver. I know the current rear sattelites probably wont initially perform on-par with the new speakers, but I'm doing this in installments. I listen to both music through my SPDIF-Optical port on my computer and watch movies on this system. I have been thinking about getting a pair of Polk Audio RTi-8's Towers with a CSi3 center. However, I know these are older speakers, and was wondering if there was anything newer, or better that would be in this price range. |

That is the best way to tell if you are going to like them. Are your speakers all Infinity? If so that might be a good brand to try to find in a store (as well as Polk and as many others as possible) because then perhaps the old rears would match the new fronts. Happy shopping! |
