i plan to make a custom ported box in the near future for 2 12" kicker cvx but i wanted some ideas to make them hit harder. Ive heard plexi-glass on the top, but does it really work?
build a nice ported box. i like the tuning of 37 hz for 12s with that capability.. do like 2.5 cu ft for each sub.
but no stay away from bandpass if you dont know what you are doing. it will most likely sound like crap..
or if you really want to go all out do fiberglass boxes.. but thats big bucks there.. or do a mixture of mdf and fiberglass. but this is home audio subwoofers just to let you know.. not car
