Hello,
My mom has asked me to setup her computer so that she can play Napster on her home stereo speakers in the living room. I have some experience with car audio, but I've never messed with home audio.

She has:
Technics SA-EX800 Reciever
Technics Record player
Sony CDP-C201 5 disc cd changer
2 Pioneer home speakers w/ the usual speaker terminal on the back
1 Kenwood KFC-W3012 car sub that I took out of my car that she wants me to hook up to her system (if this is possible)

What would I need to do this and how would I hook it up?

Thanks :-)

Greetings Joe,

The simple way to do what your Mom is asking you to do is to use a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to stereo RCA patch cable.

Taking the audio from the computer out of the headphone jack and into one of the open inputs on the receiver will get you where you want to be.

There are some issues with more than one volume control (on the computer there are probably at least two and then the one on the receiver) but other than that it should work very well.
