First off im mainly 2 channel music guy, Im trying to get a av receiver to decode bluray from my Ps3 but what i wanted to do is be able to use my front speakers in my 2 channel system with my receiver. i bought a Pioneer VSX-818 open box for $220. It does DTS HD an all but no preout for an integrated amp. I have a Cambridige Audio 640a id like to try to integrated into the system. Any receivers that can do this im on a tight budget.
Yes I can downmix to 2 channels but my issue is that, i want to use my fronts that are already in place, i want to run like a pre processor/amp deal except with a receiver and integrated. I have 3 sets of speakers already center, fronts ( music ones) and av123 monitors which i plan on using as surrounds. If i could get a receiver that I can use my fronts ill end up only needing a subwoofer.
