My older Acoustimass 3 Series II powered speaker is hissing/popping at me and I could use your help with diagnostics.
About a month ago it started making popping/hissing sounds through the satellite speakers with or without any input. It is a static white noise from both speakers (maybe a bit more on the left) and recently started sounding a little buzzy as well. Changing the volume doesn't make any difference to the level of the hissing. Even with the volume at 0 it still makes the sounds.
Any advice as to what it could be is greatly appreciated; I do have some knowledge regarding electronics.
yeah mine was doin the same turns out it was interference from other cables at the joins... i do have another problem is that the sub clicks off when some bass goes through it when volume is a quarter or above, please help someone!!!
