last month i bought the component of bose acoustimass 5 seri II (woofer and crossover)
i just assembly them, and put them in a wooden box (custom made, very simple plain box)
but the sound is just not good, I think I need to build the box the same as it was
does someone have the schematic of the box so i can build a new box ?
or any suggestion on how to build a new box ?
thank you

is that right ?
i bought this because a friend of mine recommended it
he said bose is small in size, but big in sound
but my bose am5's sound is nowhere near big,
i thought this is because of the custom box i made
anyone can tell me the effect of the box to the quality / power of the subwoofer sound ?

short answer:: Listen to Nuck.

Long answer:: The bose bass module may be a transmission line. You'd have to take one apart to get the dimensions than spend a week in a decent woodshop to see if you could make a duplicate which didn't rattle. Just duplicating the external dimensions won't cut it, in that case. (so to speak) There are some math relations here which are too detailed to simply cover and govern the relationship of the electromechanical properties of a speaker to the enclosure in which it is housed.
Best Bet? Call it a loss and start over.
