Could someone please help me. I have klipsch synergy B3 Bookshelves and a Sub-10 with 4 surround speakers. I need a center chanel. I've heard not to mix synergy and reference series speakers but it seems like the RC-62 models is nice. Just wanted peoples opinions on the C3 for my center chanel vs. the RC-62. Thanks

You have 6 speakers and a sub.
Have you tried one of the surrounds for 5.1?

Ive just read on seveal sites that you shouldn't mix the Klipsch reference series speakers with the Klipsch Synergy series speakers. If this isn't true and won't matter then I will probably get the RC-62 because it seems like a better overall center channel speaker.

this is true, you shouldn't mix the synergy with the reference. the synergy is harsh and bright and won't tonally match your other speakers.

Have you tried a spare surround speaker for a center?

Indeed. Center and fronts should match, even if of lesser quality. Unless you want to upgrade all you speakers to the Reference line. For what it's worth, I've owned the Synergy line before, and while not being "audiophile" they were actually quite enjoyable.
