Posted on Saturday, October 04, 2008 - 00:41 GMT Your CD player actually has a DAC in it. It takes the 0's and 1's (bits) from your CD's and coverts it to an analogue signal your pre-amp/amp can understand. Some DACs are much, much better than others. |

Are you happy with that you are hearing? Is this just general confusion or are you thinking of trying a new system configuration? Have you tried placing something on the order of "how CD players work" into a search engine? . |
