I'm slowly building a HT system. I will also listen to music (mostly contemp. and traditional jazz).
Right now I have B&W fronts, Yahmaha RX-V663 A/V, Adcom GCD 600 changer, Bryston 9B ST Amp and Pro-Ject Phono Box with a Technics Direct Drive Automatic Turntable. I realize I have a long way to go in terms of rear, sub. and center speakers.
What other components would enhance the sound quality? I like full deep sound that is also bright/tight. I feel like I am getting some of that now. But I would like to enhance it if possible.
I was considering looking at pre-amps. but not sure if I need one and what additional purpose it would serve.
