hi everyone, just picked up a pair of swan diva 4.1's and want a decent cheap amp to go with it. mostly want it to listen to music so stereo's good. any suggestions?
I want to be able to biamp the speakers if possible.
some stuff i'm considering are
1. cambridge 340a
2. Panasonic SA-XR57K
3. Harman Kardon AVR 335
4. Onkyo Tx-SR506
5. Yamaha RX-V661

dont buy the harman kardon if its stereo that youre into. from the list IMO look at the cambridge and the onkyo in that order

yeah i think i'm going towards the cambridge. after a little more looking around thought i'd throw in the NAD C320 BEE as well.
so the choice is now
1. cambridge 340a
2. NAD C320 BEE

i havent really heard the speakers that you have but both the cambridge and nad are good amps. the toss up between the two would be to your personal taste. if you can listen to them before you buy, it would help in the decision. also if your room is big make sure you power them well as the sensitivity of the speakers is low

why would you want to bi-amp them
