RT - You're going to have to provide lots more information before anyone can make any suggestions.

check out Amazon.com sale on JBL Stadium towers. At $125 each WITH free shipping, they have to be the deal of the year. Don't wait too long though, sales like this at Amazon can disappear overnight.

With their stated 91db sensitivity, your older Sansui amp should have no trouble driving them to ear bleed levels.

good luck

I realize I was wrong. Someone can make a recommendation without knowing a thing about your requirements.

cute

let's see, it stereo, it's vintage, it's 54 wpc rms, it's relatively inexpensive so the speakers would be also....

how much spoon feeding do you need to offer a suggestion.

But, heaven's above Mr. Vigne, you can't possibly be "wrong".....you Never are !

Martin- Jan isn't wrong. Ross will have to let us know a lot more about his listening preference, music choice, live music experience, what he/she looks for in music, room size/dimensions, source. Im just scratching the surface of what Jan meant by his/her comment. Personally recommending him cheap Best Buy speakers without knowing some of his listening habits is a bad idea.
