Need advice for multichannel amplifier and av receiver

I have a multichannel amplifier with the following specification. It is not a powerful one (it is local made not the expensive brand as others have) but good enough to rock my small room (21ft x 12 ft x 10 ft).

multi ch amplifier specification

Subwoofer output power: 50W
Front output power: 30W + 30W (4 ohms)
Center output power: 30W(4 ohms)
Surround output power: 30W + 30W (4 ohms)
Total harmonic distortion: <= 0.5%
Input Impedance: 47k
Input Sensibility: <= 300mv
Max input signal: 5Vp-p
Signal-to-noise: >=80dB
Freq response: 20 Hz-20 Hz (+/- 3dB)

I have a plan to buy the AV receiver for better sound control. My setup is to connect the AV receiver pre out to multi ch amplifier inputs.

1) Because a power rating of most AV receivers is 50 W or more on Dynamic Power/Channel or on Main/Centre/Real channels, could I buy one of them (I prefer a budget receiver) and connect to my multichannels amplifier which has 30W/Channel?
2) As Multichannels output is lower than AV receiver output, is this workable?
3) Would the multich amplifier (with 4 ohms speakers and subwf) or AV receiver blow up if I connect these two?
4) If not, could I enjoy the advantage of receiver output quality from the multi ch amplifier output?
5) Does degrade its output sound quality?

Any advice would be appreciated.
