Best 100watt powered sub for <$400?

My room dimensions are 10x19 and a 7 foot ceiling. My fronts are Monitor Audio Bronze2 and my receiver is HK AVR 225. I'm using some 10 year old Boston Acoustics for my rears from my SubSat 6 system.

Unless you want really loud bass, you have several good choices:

1. PSB Subzero-i (8"): $299. Very musical. Note the "i"--the original Subzero only has a 70 watt amp, but the new "i" model has 100 watt amp.

2. Phase Tech Power 8 (8"): $325. Phase Tech is one of the largest speaker builders in the country, but mostly their stuff is OEM for other brands. However, they have a very nice model under their own brand that you can often find for less. Puts out quite a bit of bass for its size. Very nice unit.

3. Velodyne CH-10 (10"): $399. Very nice sub from the king of subwoofers. Probably can't do better than this for $400, but it has more power than you ask for--it has 150 watts continuous power.
