Would it be safe to use all LSi series speakers into the Onkyo SR800, considering that they are 4 ohm?

You might try chatting at www.audioasylum.com, or call onkyo. Does it have a switch for 4 and 8 ohm selecting on the back?

It is probably not the ideal match, but I would be suprised if it didn't work fine.
Probably one of the reasons I like 8 ohm speakers--they are easier on most amp sections, as long as the amps aren't severely underpowered.
But I would send an e-mail or call Onkyo and ask their tech dept. if a 4 ohm load causes any stability problems when the resistance drops to 2 ohms or so with these speakers.
