I am already running my sub from the already connected Sony Deck but its not giving me the pump in the loud deep bass that I get in my cars audio systems, yes.. ofcourse the set up is not meant for the room but I need that extra kick of deep bass and pressure that I desire and have the amp to do just that.. I have a relative who powers his amp with a 12volt battery-charger which throws off the correct voltage but I am hoping to find another way of getting good power.. Please assist..

Shabir, you need an enclosure, properly tuned to start. A plate amp (for a powered sub) properly sized connected to your receiver's sub out line.

That's the basics.

Powering that sub any other way is retarded. Some @holes even bring their car batts inside to use. Don't be included in that statistic.
