Subwoofer Cable

I just bought a Klipsch KSW-10 powered subwoofer. First question: Is subwoofer interconnect cable worth the high cost versus regular line level interconnect cable? Second question: I want to place the subwoofer in a corner across the room from my receiver, so I would like to run the wire in the wall. I cannot find UL certified in-wall interconnect cable (speaker level cable is all I can find for in-wall use). What kind of wire should I use?

1. No - but is usually cheaper than wasting half of a stereo interconnect. Or make your own from a decent bit of cable and some good quality RCAs
2. As above, make your own and sleeve the cable (use your imagination). Most cables will be fine in internal walls anyway, it's only a bit of plaster - have fun!! (carpets and ceiling are much easier - hopefully you are running the cable up into the ceiling before crossing the room with it!!!)
