Never took note of these before, but they take the prize for weird-in-a-cool-way speakers.

I like the ceramic pig at the end.

Not a lot of issues with standing waves, I suppose.

Duevel make omni-directional speakers and are reputedly pretty good, although I've not heard them.

I thought Duevel was a Belgian Ale.

I just edited this post, Duvel is a Belgium-style ale brewed in Cooperstown, NY (I think?), not Canada (sorry Nuck). http://www.duvelusa.com/home.php

They look like something from Tesla's secret lab.

Chris,

Actually, it's brewed in Belgium. Remember we went over this in a thread last spring(?)/summer(?)! Duvel is my favorite beer (and expensive as hell, but I don't care).

It's distributed by Ommegang in Cooperstown and I know the guy who runs the place. I bought a lot of stuff from there and he'd throw me some good items now and then that are not listed in their online store.

Btw, their entry site is:
http://www.duvel.be/
Then click "Flash" and listen to the background music. [I LOVE that track but don't have any idea who that is. I even asked Ommegang and Duvel and nobody knew, but SOMEBODY (i.e. webmaster) had to load up that cut.]
After that, you can click either "USA" or "International".

Btw, I have one question [left] about editing posts on eCoustics. I know I researched this a long time ago in the process of trying to find out if you can selectively choose which e-mail notifications to receive or if it's all or none (it's global, btw). I found the answer back then but right now I'm much too busy to research it again.

If you know, that would be a big help.

1.) How/where do you go to edit one your own posted msgs.? NEVER MIND QUESTION #1 -- I JUST FOUND IT AGAIN (obviously -- as I'm editing this msg.!)

2.) How long after you post it are you able to edit it? Every board has a different time limit, ranging from you can't edit at all -> no time limit whatsoever. THIS QUESTION STILL APPLIES IF ANYONE KNOWS.

Thanks,

Mike___

Thanks for the clarification Mike.

I'm thinking about going up to Cooperstown soon, I'll make it my business to get up to that brewery. I'd also like to swing through Binghamton to see McIntosh.

Tubes, Beer, & Baseball!

Did I ever mention that I was a home-brewer for about 15-yrs?

Happy Thanksgiving.

Started with a plastic bucket, then a glass carboy. Ultimately I just ran out of time, not to mention that there's plenty of great beer to be had these days.

I'm thinking about making some mods on this thing http://www.hasbro.com/toothtunes/ ,any suggestions?

They would make for quite the conversation piece.

What is that on top of the rack? Is it an old Marantz Tuner?
