I don't see any mention of DTS Master Audio or the Dolby equivalent, nor of HDMI 1.3a. I only see HDMI 1.1. So my answer would be 'No'.
However, I know that Denon's new 2808 and 3808 ARE compatible with all the video and audio requirements of BD and HD-DVD. So the question I have is how old is the 987?
