Hello all, hate to start a topic for this but I've searched and searched and haven't found anything explaining:
How large should the platforms of speaker stands be in relation to the base dimensions of the speakers? I assume some overhang is acceptable, but how much? The stands I need are for a pair of Klipsch kg 2.5's, dimensions 19.5" x 9.25" x 9.25" if that helps. I've never used stands and am clueless here. Thanks as always.
9"x9", with a sturdy base should be just fine. Bigger if you've got kids, or dogs, just waiting to knock em over. But then, no size stand would be sufficient.
