I own an HK AVR 430 that seems to power off automatically at almost exactly 20 seconds every time. When it powers off, it goes to Amber (standby mode) rather than red (load protection). Can someone please help me identify the problem?
I have taken out all the cabling to make sure that it is not a short somewhere. Yet it still powers off.
sounds like it could be a power supply problem, or you could try to reset the microprocessor, it will tell you how to do it in the manual, if you dont have the manual you can download one on the harman kardon website.
