With the balance knob at even, I'm getting more sound from my left channel than the right. I've disconnected and reconnected all my components and speakers to be sure that everything is connected correctly, and the problem persists. There's no stake going through the speaker wire currently, although I did use metal clamps to attach wires to the floor and wall previously, and can't be certain that I didn't penetrate the plastic. I pulled up the wire and reconnected my speakers, making sure that no wires were crossing, but it still favors the left side. The amp is a 2-year old Harmon Kardon 2-channel with A and B outputs. Any recommendations?

did you switch the input to the unit left to right?
And then the speaker leads?
