Wow, that makes me feel outstanding!
Not only does the author get the greatest satisfaction, but I can now identify a neurotic, nearly posessed individual, with the need for a Depends.

Great post JV.

Stu, this might be a little deeper than Andy/Ashley would go.

The Depends, OK, maybe, but only for the longest movies.

Whew, all of a sudden in spite of tripod bamboo and toothpick speaker wire risers, DIY magnet wire and silver ICs and speaker wire, little wooden blocks, I suddenly feel normal again. I was worried about getting a little right of Geeky before seeing this thread's links.

Liberating.

That set-up would go over really big with the wife.

It reminds me of that scene in A Beautiful Mind of John Nash's office.

What's disappointing is that there's no aluminum foil on the walls & no one is wearing a spaghetti stainer on their head.

hehehe.
It's a shame that I don't understand half of the concepts of what Dr. E. Brown here is actually achieving with his cabling.

Scroll down to "ERS Paper". I understand this stuff really works as advertised. Might be a reasonable option for DIY cable construction.
